So this weekend as I am on my own due to the parents being on holiday, I thought hey I am going to treat myself. Of course most of my blogs are about treating other people (friends, family and strangers) but sometimes you really do have to treat yourself – and that I did. I ended up going to Dunelm Mill which if you have never checked it out before then please do – click here! I have been looking for a chest of drawers for a long time as I am often having my make up boxes all over the place and when I saw this I thought PERFECT (okay I felt bad for spending £36 on it! *ashamed not ashamed*). I then thought hey I wonder what the readers of my blog may think of looking inside my drawers *dont be cheeky!*, so here it goes – ps if you’re not interested, thanks for joining and I’ll see in another post:
So here is the drawers that I bought, absolutely perfect for my bedroom which is all girly and flowery like this. Of course the basket on top was not included but it actually matched. It is really sturdy and safe, the drawers are rather deep in length and in width. Unfortunately I cannot find the link online, so I am wondering whether it is a brand new product. It’s height is roughly 80cm high and 30cm wide which is just perfect, so lets have a look inside….
Here’s the basket on top, I thought I would take you through some of my daily make up and beauty products. As you can see on the left hand side we have the beauty that is Soap and Glory. I have the Butter Yourself and the Breakfast Scrub (which smells absolutely amazing!!) As well as this I love the Clearasil Daily Clear Superfruits Refreshing Pads, Palmers Coca Butter (smells again amazing, is slightly greasy but it makes your hands perfectly soft). As well as this you can see the lovely Cotton Buds / Q Tips which are essential and finally my foundations. I am in between two at the moment and to this day I am still not too sure which I prefer, as I can never find one to match my skin colour 😦 Rimmel Wake Me Up Make Up Foundation and Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation !! I have included in their as well all my brushes, I am not going into all of them as I have a lot but you can see there are a number of styles as well. Finally Nair sensitive hair cream in tube (which is annoying because I have been getting the tubs for £5.99 but I found them in poundshop 😦 ) ANYWAY, I buy these in bulk along with the cotton wool pads due to the constant use, I have PCOS so hair removal is a part of my life now. I may do a blog about that one day, but I really don’t like talking about it as by the end I will end up sobbing my heart out.
My first draw – okay so this is my make up draw, you can see all of the foundations, concealers, lipsticks, mascara and unfortunately I didn’t remove the wipes but they are all eyeshadows in there as well. You can clearly see that I buy a lot of E.L.F. products, I absolutely love my ELF products, I have already reviewed them so if you wish to have a look at that — click here —. My favourite ever mascara has to be Maybelline Cats Eyes Mascara, it is absolutely a beautiful product, you will only need one layer and that is it. Again I have done further reviews of my favourite make up products so if you wish to have a look at these please —- click here —- and if you’re ever interested what I smell like (I doubt you will) but here is my perfume reviews —- click here —– I cannot tell you how much I recommend Kate Moss Lipstick – Matte 107, it is just superb and if you are a massive fan of the beautiful and elegant Zoella Sugg then you will know it is one of her faves. If you do not know who Zoe is, where have you been here she is,
She truly is an inspiration – my blog will never be amazing as her’s but please check her out – http://www.zoella.co.uk/
Anyway back to me (haha me me me !)
Standard hair box – I do have more but I cant be bothered to add more into here, course my beautiful hair dryer, my beautiful GHD’s and the fabulous Aussie hair conditioner!
I am a self confessed nail varnish addict. There I said it. This proves it, I have even had to chuck out which made me really upset. I love experimenting with colours and brands of course. As I have said before brands don’t mean anything when it comes to nail varnish. Top tip – POUNDLAND is amazing for Rimmel nail varnishes at the moment and my favourite black nail varnish is actually from there from the Halloween section.
And finally, I received no Valentines Day flowers so therefore I bought my own.
Well done for reading all of this, I apologise for the extra long post and all the links, but I thought you may want to look.
