I went and finally did it, I have signed up to a mail subscription make up company. Thank you first of all for all of the suggestions really appreciate it. I went in the end for Birchbox and it cost me £12.95! I really did not want to pay too much, but I thought that this was a reasonable price for what you get and the quality of the products. I am going to be honest the biggest reason why I went for this is due to their website, its fun, exciting and really appealed to me! So come and take a look inside my goodies!!

I ordered my subscription on Saturday and received my lovely little package on the Tuesday, which I thought was bloody brilliant considering our lovely Post Service. I received a text from my brother saying “you have the most craziest post here, I am so tempted to open it up!!”

Look at that for packaging!!! It’s definitely the little things in life that makes me excited as you can tell! I was very excited opening this up haha!! But what I found inside was even more exciting for me…… so much pinkness!!

Hello PINK!! The beautiful fluorescent pink was brilliant, its an amazing holiday themed package, which inside the bag itself has little pocket to put away you’re little keepsakes in, this is the Ibiza theme! I straight away could see what goodies I had in my bag and I was really intrigued to what I had been delivered. As I had never ordered anything like this before, I didn’t know what I was expecting really. I was looking forward to seeing the nail varnish and the eye shadows, but everything else was intriguing.

One of my ultimate favourite nail varnish shades is Barry M lilac and this is so similar to the mark and therefore I was very happy with the shade which I was given. It has lovely grey to lilac tones and is so easy to apply, you only need two coats and has a lovely shine to the colour as well. I have never personally heard of this brand but I am interested in looking into them more!

I am always quite sceptical when buying creams to be honest with you, I dont moisturise enough and I really don’t use cream’s that often. Bad bad me!!! But this little nugget I thought I would give the benefit of the doubt. Its a skim serum, which apparently calms and soothes your skin. It’s really not too greasy, but I think personally for me the smell is not nice at all. It’s a strong medicine lemon smell to it, I cant quite put my finger on it, but something from my childhood which I was not too keen on. I am still going to give it a go, but this one may be a miss to me.

Now there are so many products around lately about aloe vera, you literally see your facebook, instagram and twitter covered in aloe vera products, it seems to be in the “in thing” at the moment. I am never ever one for “in things”…. haha I still haven’t seen Avatar as everyone always says “oh my god you’ve got to see it”… if I wanna see it I will see it and if I want to try Aloe Vera I will try it. So as it’s in my little treat box, I will try this aloe product. There’s no smell to this product, its not oily or greasy which is great for my skin, but the best thing with this product I believe is to wait a see :)

Processed with VSCOcam with h3 presetMy next little treat is from a company called Pop and the colours of the trio of eyeshadows are linked with the golden theme. The lightest is that of a cream colour which is great for highlighting the eyes and further along the shades will be brilliant for my blue eyes. Although there is quite a lot of shimmer in these particular shadows and I do believe that the darkest is too dark, Hello dark circled eyes / bruises colour lol.

Processed with VSCOcam with h3 presetThe final product is a beautiful Benefit Dream Screen, which is ideal for the July Box, as it is a lovely matte sunscreen. Its one of the cutest little products, the packaging is adorable, the colours are so summery and just ideal for popping in your handbag for those hot days… although I don’t think we are going to get any more of those in Britain!! I really haven’t bought a Benefit make up product for 10+ years, as I sometimes find them expensive or I don’t really know what products are the best from them.

Anyway so there you go! I cannot wait for August subscription box from the lovely Birchbox, hopefully it’ll be a great standard. It is ideal as though if I do wish to, I can cancel at anytime…….. at the moment I won’t be!

Thank you to those who suggested Birchbox
