I saw this post on pinterest, where someone was looking to ask people questions about themselves where you have to dig a little deeper. So I thought I would give it a go, as it’s just something fun to pass the time.
Are you living a meaningful life?
Yes and no. Am I where I thought I would be at 30, absolutely not. But in many aspects of life, I feel that I am living a meaningful life.
What’s the one thing you cannot live without?
Apart from the necessities and family/ friends, it would be music. Whether its radio, your favourite playlist or just simply going to a gig. Music can bring you so many emotions.
When is it acceptable if ever to break the law?
Oooooh what a question. It really isn’t ever acceptable to break the law, although in the UK we have a weird law still where a pregnant person cannot pee in a policeman’s hat… can this rule be broken lol?
What do you want your final words to be?
Maybe a laugh, or I love you or goodbye? Otherwise something ridiculous like “parsnip”.
What inspires you the most?
My friends. Each one of them has a story to tell and they have all come through the other side.
What do you think the 5 most beautiful things in the world are and why?
- moon and the stars – no other explanation
- when traffic spreads to allow an emergency vehicle to get through – sense of “shit we could be saving a life here!”
- crowds singing – that feeling will always give me goosebumps
- a baby’s laugh – no explanation
- a sunset
What makes you feel most empowered?
When you are feeling amazing inside and you are glowing on the outside and people saw how happy you look.
What is more important, how you say it or how you show it?
I am often told that I do not say enough that I love you etc, but I show it. I think there needs to be a balance.
Do you believe in heaven and hell?
I believe in an afterlife where you go and you are happy. As the idea of just my life ending and nothing is there fucking petrifies me.
Do you live to work or work to live?
At the moment it is live to work, as I don’t really have anything to “live for”. That sounds so wrong, but what I mean is, I don’t have a relationship where I need to buy things, go away on day trips, or kids. I am just working.
Do you trust anyone with your life?
Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?
Bit of both. I do like going out, but I often like going on my own. I absolutely not leaving the house at the weekend though, and I so no issue with sleeping in late.
Do you believe in true love?
I absolutely want to. I’d love to be in love.
How do you think the world will change in 10/ 50 years time?
I think it the world will:
- change dramatically environmentally
- involve relationships between everyone where you literally cannot say anything without someone being offended
- keep pushing people to accept others, when in life they are just accept it doesn’t have to be talked about all of the time
- be hugely money led
- have more poverty
- evolve with so much technology.
If you have the option to know the date and the circumstance of your death would you?
Wow, such a tough question. No. I want to live without knowing unless it could give me extra time if I could find a cure?
What is something you are certain you will never experience?
Reliving my 20s where I could have been more, free.
What impression do you think you give when you first meet someone?
It honestly depends on the mood and the circumstance. I am either very friendly, keep myself to myself or a proper adult version of myself.
How would the perfect partner treat me?
Make me laugh, love me for me and allow me to be me.
What one responsibility do you most wish you didn’t have?
Hmm, looking after my own finances lol.
What’s something that you’re embarrassed you’re so good at?
I don’t think I am good at anything that is embarrassing, maybe that’s more embarrassing. I mean if I were to sit down with people and tell them my likes and dislikes then probably I would be more embarrassed.
How do you recharge?
Putting on a comedy show, and sitting in my room with the fairy lights on.
What’s the one thing you want to achieve before you die?
To have a happy family.
What’s something that offends you?
men who think it’s ok to just send dick pics.
What part of culture are you least proud of?
People pushing their views on you, and how society should accept things. I am not saying that society shouldn’t accept certain views but when people have a go at those for having a hard time trying to understand just leave them be. They’ll get there.
What makes you most angry about your country?
Difference between rich and poor.
