2 weeks of pure happiness – Friendship, Wireless, Brighton & more

IMG_20140630_231534 (1)Morning, afternoon and good evening – hello. God I have not done a blog post in 2 weeks, I am such a bad blogger (or am I, who made up the rules hey!?). Anyway, I have had a jammed packed 2 weeks in which I really have not had the time to relax after work to do this, as I have been pretty much cream crackered. So what have I been up to I hear you yell (I wish!), work nights out, catching up FINALLY with all my favourite girls (so freaked out right now, playing on my ipod is Girls just wanna have fun!, as I am writing about my girls) haha, Wireless Festival, Brighton days out and other activities.

Ps – the quote above is for anyone who is feeling absolute rubbish, my bff sent me it when she found out that my counsellor believes I am now suffering from low self esteem, depression and anxiety (life is brilliant!! 🙂  )

Let’s go on an adventure, if you don’t want to – check out my other blog posts.

Best Friends Girls Day Out

IMG_20140608_151159Hello you beautiful bloggers, have some wonderfully bright gerbias on this lovely spring/summer day 🙂 I had these the other day and they just completely brightened up my room. How amazing is the quality of my phone camera though. Anyway off topic, get back on top woman!! I had a really brilliant deserved day out with my best girls the other day, we all took a day off work in the middle of the week and decided we would go to Madame Tussauds and just enjoy ourselves and get out of our home town. It’s really hard nowadays when you get older to meet up with friends, I don’t know if anyone else has this issue. I have 5 close friends, 3 who live in my town (1 who is a full time sales girl (go her!!), 1 who is part time worker and a full time mummy (whoop go girl!!) and another is an intensive care nurse (round of applause!!!), and 2 who live away both 2 plus hours away. So trying to find time is just hell and with work being pains and not giving us a day off we grabbed the chance. I therefore thought I would show you just few of my snaps. The day started with us not being able to get off the train due to an unexploded bomb at the station we were entering!! But we ended up in the ending having the best day in the sunshine ❤

This is the first time I am blogging and including people who I love in a photo, so this may be taken down…… aaah!! Here we go.

My favourite quote

This life is what you make it. No matter what you’re going to mess up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is, you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends, they’ll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything they’re your true best friends. Don’t let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they’ll come and go too. And babe, I hate to say it, most of them – actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can’t give up; because if you give up, you’ll never find your soul mate. You’ll never find that half who makes you whole. And that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn’t mean that you’re gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself. Because if you don’t, then who will sweetie? So. Keep your head high. Keep your chin up. And most importantly keep smiling. Because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.

Pressures to be “normal” weight….

I bet we have all been there, I know I have and I can guarantee you have absolutely thought it – ” I am not as pretty/good looking/tall/small/thinner/bigger/curvier/beautiful than her/him “. We have all compared each other to someone else, whether that be because we are feeling or sometimes the total opposite where we want to feel good about ourselves (and you do that I bet you). But we shouldn’t, why should we compare each other, when in the end everyone wants to be unique. No one wants to be really the same and if you do you’re not particularly living YOUR life.
